Our Picks: 2013 Cannes Red Carpet Looks!

Cannes Film Festival 2013 is currently in progress. Leads stars from all over have gathered at the French Riviera to take part in the biggest film festival in the world. With big stars, come big red carpet looks, and here are some of our favorites.

Carey Mulligan (and Justin Timberlake!)

The cast of the new Coen brothers film (with lead actors Carey and Justin), Inside Llewyn Davis, were out in force in Cannes over the weekend for the film's glitzy premiere. Carey chose a very on-trend monochrome dress from Vionnet, paired with Brain Atwood heels. A simple pull backed updo and no jewels makes us love the simplicity and minimalist approach to this look.

Jessica Biel

While Jessica had no movies of her own to promote, she was their for full support for her hubby (JT no less!) The beautiful actress wowed in a feathered and embroidered strapless dress by Marchesa, white pumps and a statement snake necklace by Bulgari. 

Jennifer Lawrence

Following in the monochromatic trend of Cannes, Jennifer Lawrence wows in Dior gown paired with black peep tow pumps and a transparent clutch. She was their to promote her new movie Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian).

Berenice Bejo

Berenice Bejo, star of 2011's The Artist, attended the Cannes premiere of The Past wearing a white ballgown by Alexis Mabile and a blue blazer, paired with an Olympia Le-Tan book cover clutch.

Rooney Mara

Rooney Mara looked stunning in yet another black and white ensemble. She attended the photocall for Ain't Them Bodies Saints wearing a white silk bustier and contrasting black wool skirt by Dior.

Freida Pinto

Freida took old hollywood glam to a new level. The actress wore a sparkly silver dress with a sexy thigh-high split by Sanchita.

Fan Bingbing

Never one to dissapoint on the red carpet, Chinese actress Fan Bingbing became the belle of the ball in this pastel yellow gown by Elie Saab Couture. Paired with yellow-gold earrings, a braided updo and an amazing orange lip, there's no way we couldn't fall in love with this look.

The Cast of the Bling Ring

One of the movies we're most excited about seeing is The Bling Ring by Sofia Coppola. Previewed at Cannes, the cast (Katie Chang, Taissa Farmiga, Israel Broussard, Claire Julien and Emma Watson) looked amazing and fresh as a group.

Keep the dress casual with a denim jacket or vest and pair it with some fun accessories like a braided belt, aviator sunglasses and some wedges or strappy sandals. If you're going out, jazz it up with a great structured blazer or leather jacket and pair it with some strappy or metallic heels with matching jewelery.

Can't Wait For Spring!

Yes, yes. We know. It technically is Spring, but it sure doesn't feel like it! We just received some new Kaida and these are the perfect pieces to wear as soon as the snow melts.

This collection is full of beautiful lightweight pieces that are as easy to wear as they are comfortable. With fun prints and bright colors, this entire collection is going to be our spring staple.

New Brand: St-Martins

We love bringing new lines into Candie & Dolls, and the brand St-Martins really caught our eye. We loved the combination of great prints and simple designs. Taken from their website:

"In the st-martins collection we let opposites meet to create surprisingly new stories. We find inspiration in the newest trends in fashion, in second hand clothes stores, in street style from around the world but also in music, art and history. Here we find “stories” that inspire us to create the “st-martins universe”. You can talk about the “soul” of st-martins, because our clothes has its own soul and personality.

Each style in the st-martins collection is made to tell its own little story. The collection contains both sophisticated “quiet” clothes and charmingly “loud” clothes, and both of these types of clothes are made with very carefully “thought out” and refined details.
